Where it Comes From

The Sun Basin

The Sun Basin is a remote valley cradled in the mountains of Missoula, MT. Wind catches words, moments, and memories, sweeps them into the sky, and settles them gently into the basin, allowing us to gather them up as inspiration and present them to Botanie, our local soap making partners. Botanie then distills the memories, mixes them in small batches with gorgeous natural ingredients, and turns out bars of shampoo that are good for your hair and your soul.

    Smells like fruit loops!!

    I *love* this shampoo. I have really curly hair and a naturally oily scalp. This cleared up my dandruff and helped my hair hold moisture better than the shampoo I use designed specifically for curly hair. It's also way better for the environment.

    I will be switching to this shampoo permanently. Hoping for matching conditioner bars in the future!!

    This shampoo is awesome!

    I have dry, wavy. color-treated hair that frizzes at the slightest exposure to humidity and have tried ALL the most expensive shampoos on the market over the years. Imagine my shock when this humble little bar of shampoo left my hair cleaner without residue, softer to the touch, shinier, less prone to frizzing, and smelling fresher and better than the ultra-expensive, lux shampoo brands. I do hot yoga and garden in summer heat where I get filthy, and my hair still comes out clean, soft, shiny, and happy after every wash. My only question now is when is there going to be a conditioner bar to go with this fantastic shampoo? I cannot recommend this shampoo highly enough.
