When will I be charged each month?

For new subscribers, you'll be charged for your first pair of Awesome Socks when you sign up. All following Awesome Sock orders will charge on the first of each month, beginning in February.

When will I receive my socks each month?

Domestic orders typically take 1-2 weeks to arrive once they’re shipped. International orders may take up to 6 weeks. 

When will my subscription end?

Our standard Awesome Socks Club subscription is perpetual but you can cancel any time. If you have the gift subscription, your subscription will be automatically cancelled after your December 2022 order is processed. 

During our first year, customers signed up for a one-year subscription that cancelled after the December socks shipped. But then we discovered that a solid majority of people thought that their subscriptions were perpetual, and that was causing a lot of confusion. So we switched to perpetual subscriptions.

Can I see the socks before they are shipped? 

Well...that would spoil the surprise! If you keep your eyes on our social media, sometimes you might catch glimpses...

When will my orders be shipped?

Your socks will ship around the 3rd or 4th week of the month. You can expect to receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking info when your order is shipped. If you don't see this email in your inbox, be sure to check your spam/junk folders and add "hello@dftba.com" to your email contacts list.

If you sign up for a new subscription between October 31st and November 14th, 2022, then your first pair of socks will ship to you by the end of January 2023. Then beginning in February, you'll be charged on the first of each month and your socks will ship around the 3rd of 4th week of that month.

Can I skip a month?

Unfortunately, we don’t have the ability to do this yet. We’re hoping to someday build a more robust system for subscription management, but for now the only option is to cancel.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes! You can cancel your subscription any time by logging to manage your account (see theAccount Management FAQ for more info).

Please note that cancelling your subscriptionwill notcancel any orders that have recently processed and have not yet shipped. If your order has not yet shipped, please reach out to us athello@dftba.com to cancel your ordeer.

Is my subscription tax-deductible? 

Nope, we’re not a charity, we sell socks! We just donate all our profits to charity.

How do I update my payment method?

From any page, click "Log In" at the top right of the page. Then, click “Manage Subscription” and enter your email address to receive a one-time Magic Link to access your account.

Once in your account, select the subscription you'd like to update and click "View More". On this Subscription Details page, under "Payment Method" click the "Update" button at the bottom left and you'll be sent an email to securely update your payment information for future orders.

If your subscription was cancelled due to non-payment, follow the steps above and then reach out to us at hello@dftba.com for help with reactivating your subscription.

How can I change the size of the socks I receive?

Whether we're able to send you a different size pair of socks for your subscriptions depends on whether we have unspoken for pairs in that size available. If you make this change to your account on your own, we may not have socks available in that size to actually ship your order the following month.

I receive socks but the site says there is no account with my email address!

If you're attempting to retrieve a Magic Link and get this error message, it is possible that your subscription was set up under a different email address or there was a typo in your email at checkout. If you're not able to figure out what email address was used, reach out to us at hello@dftba.com. We can help locate your account in our system, and fix any errors in the email address listed, if needed.

If you're trying to log in with a password and see this message, you can try to retrieve a Magic Link to access your subscription under that email or you can "Create Account" to set up a password for your existing account (if you haven't done so already).

How do I log in to my subscription account?

From any page, click "Log In" at the top right of the page. Then, click “Manage Subscription” and enter your email address to receive a one-time Magic Link to access your account.

Once in your account, click on the subscription you'd like to manage. From there, you'll be able to make changes such as updating your shipping address, payment method, or cancelling your subscription. select the subscription you'd like to update and click "View More". On this Subscription Details page, you'll be able to edit the shipping address listed at the bottom left.

For orders that have already been processed (paid for) but have not yet shipped, please email hello@dftba.com as soon as possible with your new shipping address and order number.  We can only update addresses before an order ships, and we are unable to request reroutes of packages once an order has been shipped.

How do I cancel my subscription?

From any page, click "Log In" at the top right of the page. Then, click “Manage Subscription” and enter your email address to receive a one-time Magic Link to access your account.

Once in your account, select the subscription you'd like to update and click "View More". On this Subscription Details page, click the "Cancel" button at the bottom left. You'll be sent a cancellation email notification to confirm your account cancellation.

Please note that canceling your account will not cancel any orders that have recently processed. To cancel an order that recently processed but has not yet shipped, please reach out to us at hello@dftba.com.

I forgot my pasword and I can't log in to my account!

To access your account without a password, click "Manage my Subscription" on the log in page. From there, you'll be prompted to enter the email address used at checkout for your first order. If you have a subscription with that email address, you'll receive a one-time Magic Link (valid for up to 1 hour) to access your account directly to make changes.


If you'd like to create a password to log in, click "Create Account" and use the same email address you used at checkout to complete your account set up. After that, you'll be able to log in anytime using that email and password.
